"Come as you are" - Rumi

I found this short poem on a Baha’i blog about 2 years ago when I was in my late twenties. I had been Christian for most of my teens and returned to Christ just before I found this poem. Before returning to Christianity, I’d been investigating the Baha’i faith for about 18 months and I still enjoy reading the Baha’i writings and the poetry of Rumi.

I was moved by these words: I have been a wanderer, a worshipper and a lover of leaving. I know that “come as you are” is God’s generous, merciful and loving invitation to all of us.
