Most Great Prison, Acca, Israel

Baha'u'llah, the prophet founder of the Baha'i Faith, was imprisoned in this prison in 1860's. You see the family cells, the stairs that His son climbed to the roof, the skylight he fell through, and the spot where he died. No video was taken from His cell although you can see the door. This prison also housed Israeli founders in the 1940's and was used in the movie Exodus

Places of Baha'u'llah in Turkey

Baha'u'llah, the Prophet founder of the Baha'i Faith, was exiled from his origins in Persia to Iraq, Turkey, and Israel. Pictures of places he lived and visited are in this video. See and for more details. Only one spot has the original house still standing (white house). The garden spot has the foundation and garden still there. The archway is where they passed through when travelling, between Istanbul and Erdine. The Mosque in Edirne was visited by Baha'u'llah.

Shrine of the Bab

The Bab was the first Prophet of the Baha'i Faith and was killed by a firing squad in 1850. His mission was to prepare the way for 'Him whom God would make manifest'. Baha'u'llah declared His mission shortly thereafter. His beautiful Shrine is located on Mt. Carmel in Haifa Israel.
